Chopstick Lei Senior & Adult Craft

In preparation for graduation season, learn how to use chopstick to make fun yarn lei!  Ideal for beginners with no previous lei making experience. Join us in the Meeting Room for this free make-and-take craft class taught by the YA & Senior Services Librarian. Materials are limited to the first twenty registrants per class. The Consumer Education Fair is jointly presented by the Hawaii State Dept. of Commerce and Consumer Affairs and the Hawaii State Public Library System.

The Art of Taiko with Kenny Endo

In celebration of National library Week 2009, Aina Haina is proud to present The Art of Taiko, an all-ages cultural featuring a demonstartion and lecture on the art of performing with taiko (Japanese drums).  Kenny Endo is a performer, composer, and leader of contemporary taiko.  He began his taiko career over 30 years ago as a member of Kinnara Taiko and San Francisco Taiko Dojo.
 

Star Mini-Books Eco-Craft Class for Teens and Adults
