Afterschool Teen Movie with Snacks: Finding Dory

Teens grade 6-12 are invited to relax and enjoy free snacks in the auditorium while viewing a hit movie! In this sequel to Pixar's 2003 smash hit Finding Nemo, lovable, amnesiac blue tang Dory (voiced by Ellen DeGeneres) decides to go off in search of her long-lost parents. With the help of young clown fish Nemo (Hayden Rolence) and his dad Marlin (Albert Brooks), Dory heads for California and the Monterey Marine Life Institute, evading predators along the way as she hopes to find a place she can call home.

Teens grade 6-12 are invited to relax and enjoy free snacks in the auditorium while viewing a hit movie! In this third installment of the rebooted Star Trek film series (which began with J.J. Abrams's Star Trek in 2009), Captain Kirk (Chris Pine) struggles with a personal crisis as he and the crew of the Enterprise are attacked by a dictator named Krall (Idris Elba). When an assault by Krall leads to the destruction of their starship, the team end up marooned on a remote planet inhabited by aliens both hostile and helpful.

Two paranormal researchers (Kristen Wiig and Melissa McCarthy) join forces with a nuclear engineer (Kate McKinnon) and a subway attendant (Leslie Jones) to fight off a slew of ghosts that have invaded New York City. Eventually, they come face-to-face with an evil entity who can control human beings. Chris Hemsworth co-stars as the ladies' hunky receptionist.

Afterschool Teen Movie with Snacks: The BFG

Teens grade 6-12 are invited to relax and enjoy free snacks in the auditorium while viewing a hit movie! Steven Spielberg directed this adaptation of Roald Dahl's beloved novel, which centers on the unlikely friendship between a lonely orphan named Sophie (Ruby Barnhill) and the titular "big friendly giant" (brought to life via a motion-capture performance from Mark Rylance). Together, the pair explore Giant Country and collect dreams; later, they try to warn the Queen of England (Penelope Wilton) about the threat posed by the other giants, who, unlike the vegetarian BFG, eat children for sustenance.
