The focus of the presentation is to bring an awareness of how working K9s (dogs) are employed within a community to help keep us safe. For example dogs who work for TSA at the airport to check luggage for explosives, and dogs who work in search and rescue. Learn about how the dogs are selected and trained, what their working day is like, how the TSA K9 program was started. Attendees will have the opportunity to volunteer to be a decoy for dog training purposes at the airport or other offsite locations.
